Tales of Zestiria Sorey for

Commissioned request to craft character Sorey from Tales of Zestiria as a custom pony figure. This accompanies the Deku Princess and are both going to Spain~

Pony base is a generation pose I engineered with different body and head from 2 different ponies.

Coated entire figure in white gesso to create a strong canvas for the paint work, then full body repaint in fleshtone acrylics. Eyes painted in my anime-realism/fusion style. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.

Mane and tail rooted in nylon mlp hair in the colors roasted almond and amaretto.

Mane permanently styled in my hair gel method.

Pierced the ears with a giant safety pin and gave him his orange feather earrings of dyed feathers on gold beads strung on floral wire. Tail is embellished with ribbons and hemp cord and the rhinestone buttons like I used on the front of his outfit.

Outfit- started with the under-layers of his blue longsleeve shirt and black pants, all hand-stitched. Made the pants pockets from black ribbon and orange rhinestones, gave him a belt crafted from real leather and crafted silver ends on it from faux vinyl, and tied a hemp cord bow. Crafted little pocket on it from suede leather and gave it a rhinestone. Metal hoops tied to brown hemp cord adorn one side.

Stitched white boots, glove and gauntlet from wide white bias tape. The short glove has gold acrylic detail painted on, and a bracelet of beads strung on floral wire with yellow rhinestone, dyed feathers and aqua ribbon. Gauntlet and boots are almost crafted the same.

I individually cut out all the strips from oil tanned leather, and shaped 21 metal buckles from thick silver wire, with pliers. Top strips are a darker strip of leather with brown ribbon glued in the middle.

Gold portion of the boots is a soft acorn-colored leather lined with light brown hemp cord, soles of boots are thick black leather lined with black hemp cord.

Next up, I cut out the white over-coat in 9 pieces from the wide white bias tape. I drew out the patterns then traced them onto the fabric with regular pen ink.

I then went through and hand-stitched all the black bias tape hems, then went over all the patterns with black acrylic paint. Bolder white circles lining each side of the jacket are large circle metal rhinestones I painted white and black then glued on black faux vinyl then attacked to a strip of black ribbon.

Finished detail on front of jacket with silver rhinestones on small pieces of black ribbon, and a strip of brown leather across the back of the neck collar with painted silver ends, and dyed orange feathers on yellow rhinestones.

Sword- cut from the thick oil tanned leather I used on the boots and gauntlets, then painted in antique and barn red acrylics with golden yellow detail.

Handle is a toothpick I wrapped in beige ribbon, with gold vinyl hilt and end, and the end has beads, dyed feather and brown hemp cord accessorizing.
