LoZ Breath of The Wild Link and Zelda

Pony bases on both are generation 4 Princesses that were boiled to have their wings and horns severed off. 
Bases coated in white gesso to prime a texture for the acrylic paint work to bond to. Full body repaints in flesh tone acrylics, eyes hand painted in my anime/realism-fusion style. Paint work sealed in Artists Varnish. 
I made them both hylian elf ears cut from real leather, and painted in the same flesh tone acrylics matching their body color. 

Mane and tails are rooted in nylon mlp dolly hair in the colors:
Link: Golden Sun, Sunlight, Butterscotch and limited edition Blond 4.
His mane is permanently styled in hair gel method. 

Zelda: Mangotango, Butterscotch, Golden Sun and custom blended lemonade/lemondrop. The braid is from a hair accessory extension I bought from Claire’s Boutique. 
Her blue hair clips on her bangs are rectangle rhinestones. 

I made Zelda first so I’ll start with her attire-
Entire outfit is hand-sewn and hand painted. 
Her pants are inverted black faux vinyl as well as her gloves, used a wide woven knitted material for the fancy textured underlayer of her shirt. Beige cream bias tape stitched around neck and sleeves. 
Painted bias tape a deeper gold yellow for the detail on top of her gloves, around the waist and across her chest. Painted detail on thin cerulean blue ribbon too. Her shrug is cut/stitched from cerulean blue bias tape. Hemmed them shrug with a golden yellow rope trim. Painted gold pearl rhinstone for front chest piece with a triforce on it, white pearl rhinestone on neck piece and gold flat rhinestones on gloves to finish. 

Belts and boots- 
Wide brown belt is thick brown real leather with lighter brown acrylic detail painted on. Underlayers of the beige and cerulean blue bias tape with painted yellow bias tape hemming. Painted a strip of black ribbon with yellow paint and attached it to yellow bias tape for the zigzag sash detail. Partial belt layer is acorn-colored real leather with wire and hemp cord detail, bag is thick brown real leather with brown bias tape pockets and detail, stiching holes punched with leather puncher, yellow acrylic paint detail. Cerulean blue triangle is dyed leather with white hemp cord threaded through. Tiny silver rhinestones detail the side pockets. 
Boots- brown bias tape with inverted faux silver vinyl for the top flaps, shiny side of silver vinyl on the boot tips, light brown bias tape tied around the middle. Thick brown leather for the soles. Round metallic rhinestones to finish. 

Link’s attire- there’s no easy way to describe this. It broke my mind trying to keep up with crafting him. xD
Started with underlayers of cream bias tape pants, and white wide bias tape for his under shirt. Cloth gauntlets are the cream bias tape, carefully hand painted in red and green acrylic detail. Gloves are thick brown leather. Armor piece on his front hoof is faux brown vinyl painted in acrylic detail, brown ribbon straps tying it in place and silver rhinestone detail. Boots have thick brown leather for soles and bottom layer, with lighter brown faux vinyl over top then light brown bias tape for the top flaps. 
Cerulean blue tunic is cut and stitched in 4 pieces, with pale blue acrylic painted detail. 
Belt straps around waist and chest were next detail crafted, holes punched with leather puncher, silver and gold wire detail for the buckles, brown ribbon detail. Belts are carefully cut strips of the lighter brown faux vinyl. Pouch bag on one side cut and hand stitched from beige leather with brown leather over flap. 
Eye of Truth accessory- Double layered thick black faux vinyl with thick brown leather glued over top. Holes punched with leather puncher, hand painted acrylic detail, red ribbon attaches it to the belt. 

Black hood- cut and stitched from thin faux black vinyl. Hand painted acrylic detail in red and cream acrylics. Stitched a thin strip of black bias tape across the neck and stitched metal snaps to make it removable. 

Sword and shield- I made them a 1 piece item set to simplify this project. Shield is cut from thick bear leather, painted in acrylics with a painted rhinestone in the middle with silver wire glued around it. Sword is a wooden dowel painted at both ends, hilt is a thick piece of painted leather with thin wood dowel attached with blue bead at the end of it, silver wire and blue ribbon detail. 

Bow and arrow- started with making a thick wire base, I then stitched thin brown faux vinyl and thick brown leather in the middle. Cerulean blue hemp cord wrapped around each side of the middle. Aqua ribbon tied at the ends. Painted silver and charcoal acrylic detail on both sides, attached silver spikes at both ends with thick silver wires securing the piece on the outsides of both ends. 
Arrow- Started with two layers of thick brown leather, acorn-colored leather for the top piece. Wired together layers of cogs for the middle piece, painted details, wrapped silver wire and brown hemp cord and finished with yellow and gold rhinestones. Blade is 2 layers of plastic from pony packaging with transparent blue thin plastic paper sandwiched in the middle. Light blue acrylic detail on outside of blade. Rest of the arrow is a toothpick with beads and painted feathers. 

Quiver bag- Cut hand stitched bear leather with painted acrylic detail, flat silver wire band in the middle and silver rhinestones to finish. 
Arrows are toothpicks with painted beads and painted feathers attached at one end.
