KH2 Axel commission

Kingdom Hearts II commission.

I used the body of a core 7 clone pose for a "stalky" build for Axel, and a more roomy palette for constructing a leather jacket.
The head I used is of a smaller pose... not sure what to call it, but if it weren't for the sharp features of the eyes and ears of the head, the pose would be rather insignificant. The body of that pose is real short with short legs, and not real dynamic or roomy.
I think this is the same engineered pose combination I ended up using for my She-Ra custom this last August. XD

This is also probably single-handedly THE most hair I've ever put on one pony. If memory serves me correct, I used 2 packages of candy apple pony hair, a package of cherry pie, and package of fire bird, and some remnants of garnet jewel. I was EXTREMELY short on supply for garnet jewel... there was probably barely enough hair to make a tail out of. xDD But I somehow managed to space it out enough throughout Axel's mane, so that I didn't run out of the garnet jewel hair until I was almost done. <____<
The hair color pattern I established for the plugs is this:

1 plug of garnet jewel | 2 plugs candy apple | 1 plug fire bird | 2 plugs candy apple | 1 plug cherry pie | 1 plug garnet jewel.

I then repeated this pattern all over the entire head.
Aside from the hair plugs I made from the fresh packages of various red hair I have, I also had various pre-made hair plugs left over from previous customs.

This gives you a good visual of each individual pigment that was put into Axel's mane.

Axel's eyes are very lovingly hand-painted. I fell in love with the aqua/burgundy simplicity of his expression... other customs I've done with this same allure, are She-Ra, my most recent ffx Lulu, and my Twlight Princess Zelda custom.

Axel's trench coat is hand-sewn leather. Picked it up from a store of designer fabrics, and managed to find a good thin matte leather that's easy to work with.
Gray zippers are hand-sewn to the coat, and it is detailed in black hemp and has silver plastic accessories on the front.

Axel's weapons are hand-crafted by me out of wire and metal.
