Changeling King Thorax and Princess Skystar

These are crafted from blind bag size pony bases-
King Thorax is 2 ½ inches tall from hoof to horn
Princess Skystar is approximately 2 inches tall (with mane flattened down)
She is 4 ½ inches long from hoof to tail fin tip. 

Both bases had their hard manes and ears cut off, of course the Skystar base has her rear half of body severed off too. Both coated in white gesso to give acrylics a surface to bond to. 

King Thorax’s horns and ears are all cut from thick real leather, his wings are a colored blue transparent plastic paper glued on polypropylene clear plastic from pony packaging boxes. Painted leather wing shells are on the insides of the wings. He is painted entirely in acrylic paints, some rhinestone detail on his chest, all paint sealed in Artists Varnish. 

Skystar’s merpony tail is cut from faux vinyl and hand stitched. She was painted in acrylics then sealed in Artist varnish, her neck detail is a tiny piece of coral orange scarf material with a pearl rhinestone in the center. Mane and tail fin are a sheer aqua mesh scarf material, tail has white hemp cord detailing. Mane is detailed in pink sequins, with some white hemp cord poking out. 
Her wing fins are a sheer yellow scarf material sandwiched between layers of transparent polypropylene plastic from pony packaging, then light pink glitter acrylics painted on the outsides. There are tiny ear fins also from the same plastic, and painted in aqua acrylics.
