g4 Sailor Uranusby *LightningSilver-Mana

Artisan Crafts / Dolls, Plushies & Custom Toys / Customized Toys

Sailor Uranus from the anime Sailor Moon; crafted from a generation 4 hard-haired Princess Celestia mlp from the Friendship Is Magic series.

Carved all the hard hair, wings and horn off with a exacto knife.

Full body repaint in flesh tone acrylics. Eyes layered in acrylics, in a anime/realism style.

Mane and tail are re-rooted in Hasbro pony hair in the colors of golden wheat and mango tango.
Hair permanently hardened in my hair gel method.

Outfit entirely hand-sewn, suit and gloves are a inverted patent vinyl.
Boots, skirt and kerchief are blue bias tape.
Blue cording on gloves are maxi piping. I made my own maxi piping from scratch this time around, with elastic and blue bias tape.
Boots detailed in ribbon.
White maxi piping details the bodice, and a sheer pink ribbon on the sleeves.

Yellow ribbon and blue tail ribbon are bias tape. Rhinestones used for tiara jewel and heart jewel on the ribbon. Star on the choker is hand-painted in gold acrylics.

Sword is aluminum flashing detailed in rhinestones, handle is leather painted in gold acrylics, detailed in beige hemp. Cut a slit in the handle to fixate the metal blade.

Well... cut in a few areas, then it practically pops off in one piece, some times takes the horn with it. xDD

Doesn't work that way all the time, though... some times it insists on being stubborn.
