Sir Auron pony

Alrighty! This is my first G1 male custom! I ordered this wonderful male pony off of eBay a long while back, and was saving him for THE perfect character. I kinda knew I'd end up using him in my Final Fantasy hoard...first he was going to be Tidus (but it's far too manly for him...) then I was contemplating a Wakka custom, but that boy annoys the shit out of me, so I came to the conclusion that this pony base was only suitable for Sir Auron's bad-assery.

With that said, let's get on with how he was made!
Started off with a layer of cream acrylics for his body color, then did a few layers of gold. His pants and coat and neck thing are all hand sewn, his jug, shoulder armor, and glasses are sculpted. He has a partial full-head rehair job, and his hair is kept in place with watered down mod podge.

He presented me with a few slight challenges, but is far from the epic challenges that Khimari and Bahamut presented me with. Even Tidus was more challenging than this guy. XD ..........and Rikku....and Lulu....

(This rare male pony had "cancer" spots all over him, which are just dark spots that can't ever be removed. He was being sold on eBay strictly as custom bait, not for collector value, since the cancer spots nullify the value of this pony.)
