Phoenix pony trade

Okay. I made this BEFORE made me a reference, so I really hope she likes it.

I used a generic pony for this one, only because I didn't think any of the McDonald's sized Hasbro ponies would have done a character like this, justice.

I'll tell you guys, this pony was one ugly piece of crap before I got my hands on it. It had ONE row of hair, with about 14 strands of hair in that row. >_< I added an extra row of hair on each side of that row, to beef up the thickness. The tail had about 8 tiny holes where there was a strand of hair coming out each one; I took an exacto knife and just cut around the cluster holes, forming one big hole.

I used LAYERS of neon acrylic paints for the body, having the a specific flame in mind, that shot out of my heater one night. X_X [link]
And the hair is the color of the sunset; I stuck with a bright red, hot pink, peach orange, and soft yellow. I was a bit iffy about the pink, but I just LOVE the hot pink clouds that appear sometimes during sunsets.

I glued feathers and fur around the hair.

EDIT: I made it a horn, but I need to fix it.
