Kanji Kimono Bunny

Series of original designs I'm doing due to a new stash of materials I purchased from Shibori Dragon fabric store, this one is a traditional style bunny in a kimono.

Pony pose is engineered- body of a g3 core 7 clone pose with the head of a standing g3 earth pony.

Full body repaint in country tan acrylics, eyes hand-painted in matte, metallic and neon pigmented acrylics.

Mane and tail are re-rooted in Restoredoll hair in the color blend called "fairy lights".

Kimono is entirely hand-sewn, traditional Japanese prints used on the dark blue bunny sleeve, tan main body of the gown, and the white fabric with black Japanese writing. Those 3 are from Shibori Dragon. The rest is from Fabric depot, or other various materials I've had around.

Gown detailed in textiles of ribbons, laces, and obi has white/orange bias tape sewn to the main red fabric. Detailed in beige hemp, silk pink ribbon, and a gray ribbon.

All beads are from Shibori Dragon, and are traditional Japanese style. All are sewn/wired to the pony.
