Harajuku Ringlet version 2.0
----SOLD----
Felt like making another custom of generation 1 My Little Pony named Ringlet as a generaion 3 figure embellished in the harajuku style
If unfamiliar with that style, I recommend googling harajuku to gain a understanding that some people enjoy overloading artistic expression in the form of detail diabetes and that’s just how it is
Generation 3 pony base is coated in white gesso and is a engineered pose from 2 different generation 3 ponies, wings are severed from a generation 4 princess.
Full body repaint in yellow acrylics, wings painted in gradients to match the original design, stars and dots are painted rhinestones.
Eyes painted in my realism/fusion rainbow style, all paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.
Mane and tail are rooted in mohair and curly hair.
Stitched leg warmers with various layers of cotton fabric, laces, ribbon with bead and buttons sewn on. Made a couple strings of beads based on flowers, stars and droplets and pinned them over the hole on one flank where I cut off a 3-D cutie mark off the original pony body. Glued a bumble bee at the top of the flower.
Tied a gold ribbon around the neck and attached a crystal star necklace.
Made a few strands of beads strung on floral wire for the mane too, in the theme of flowers, eggs, droplets and starts as well and added a orange g3 friendship charm and a large lady bug, and ice cream button.
Added large rainbow bow on back of head with roses and flowers stitched to it.
A few rhinestones to finish detail on front of face and on blank flank side.
